Yes. AutumnOwl made a tutorial.
At the request of ~EmoteMaker I've made a tutorial. I did not like the experience, and hope to never do it again. I felt I was just repeating what other tutorials have already said. And goodness knows I hate being redundant. So please, please, please go check out the other emote tutorials, as well as the ones over at :iconemotication:. THEY WILL HELP YOU BETTER THAN ME.

To be boot'd to scraps later 8D

Also, please don't steal my shading technique ;_; I at least tweaked what I learned to fit my personal needs, all I ask is that you do something of a similar nature.

*Edit*
Try as I might, I can't find a decent color for the test; it just refuses to show properly on the checkerboarded areas.

So the text says, starting from "Hands!":

"Hands! Outline should be slight shade darker than the darkest area of the *body* outline. This makes them distinguishable if the outline of the hand and the outline of the body ever are aligned.

"Make sure the light source is the same on the hand as on the body. (e.g., upper left for body, upper left for hands) The colors to be used are circled in accordance with their placement in the hand."

I shall continue trying to tinker with the color. I'm sorry it's so screwy :<

Edit (again)
Just decided to go with plain old, stark white. What do you think?

EDIT 3 OMG

Changed the stark white to light purple. Easier on the eyes or am I failing miserably? lol!
